Jennings Represents Otters at Prospect Game

Jacob Jennings has been selected to represent the Huntsville Otters in the PJHL Prospect Game this Saturday, November 4th in Wingham at 1:00.

Each year the PJHL hosts two prospect games showcasing the league’s top 16 and 17 year old players. This year will see the North Conference host the West Conference and the East Conference will host the South Conference. Jacob is rostered to the North team, that is made up of players from the Carruthers and Pollock Divisions as they take on the West team, that is made of players from the Stobbs and Yeck Divisions.

As a 16 year old, this is Jacob’s first season in the PJHL and playing for the Huntsville Otters. Jacob is a Bracebridge native who played minor hockey with the South Muskoka Bears Minor Hockey Association in the Muskoka Parry Sound League. Jacob and his Bears team finished last season on a high note with an OMHA Red Hat win at the U18 level.

Jacob is a very energetic and tenacious forward who gives it his all every shift he hits the ice. He has confidently jumped into his first season at the junior level and has quickly settled in to the fast paced and physical play associated with this level of hockey. Jacob is a determined player that does what needs to be done on the ice, who finds success both in making the play and finding the net. He isn’t afraid to dig the puck out of the corner or work to get it off an opponent. He is a welcome addition to the Otters organization.

Best of luck this Saturday in Wingham, Jacob. We will all be cheering for you from Huntsville!
